By accessing or using the DishDecoded mobile application and website (the "Service"), operated by Trajectory Labs, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the Service.

3. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

DishDecoded uses artificial intelligence to estimate nutrition information. All nutrition data provided by the Service — whether from text descriptions, photo analysis, or recipe imports — are estimates only and should not be relied upon as precise measurements.

AI-generated nutrition information may contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any nutrition data provided by the Service.

4. Health Disclaimer

DishDecoded is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The nutrition information provided is for general informational purposes only.

You should not rely solely on DishDecoded for dietary decisions related to medical conditions, allergies, food intolerances, or any health-related concerns. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making significant dietary changes.

If you have food allergies: Do not rely on DishDecoded to identify allergens. Always verify ingredients independently.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

DishDecoded may offer premium features through paid subscriptions. Subscriptions are managed and processed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and RevenueCat.

  • Payment is charged to your app store account at confirmation of purchase
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your device's app store settings
  • Refunds are handled by the respective app store according to their refund policies

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, code, and content, is owned by Trajectory Labs, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the content you create within the Service (e.g., your meal logs and custom recipes).

By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to use your content as necessary to provide and improve the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trajectory Labs, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or health outcomes, arising from your use of the Service.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings screen in the app. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of Delaware.
